Goods delivered by carrier will require a signature to acknowledge receipt of the goods. Check that the number of boxes as stated on the drivers manifest matches the number of boxes being delivered, if it does not then just sign for the number of boxes received in good condition. If you are not able to fully examine the goods then you must sign as ‘UNEXAMINED’. If the goods are delivered and appear not in good condition, they must be signed for as ‘DAMAGED’ or rejected (where they will be returned by to Bradford Furniture Ltd by the carrier). If you sign for the goods in good condition then you are confirming that the goods are not damaged. Once you sign for the goods in good condition then neither you or us can claim against the carrier for damage, so you must be sure before you sign. Once signed for in good condition Bradford Furniture Ltd will accept no responsibility for subsequent claims in respect of damaged goods.

In the event of goods being returned to Bradford Furniture Ltd because of failure by the customer to receive the goods, the customer will be liable for the costs incurred in returning the goods to Bradford Furniture Ltd. It is at the customer’s risk. Such an action is undertaken solely on your individual responsibility. Delivery without a signature – Please be aware that Bradford Furniture Ltd and our contracted delivery teams require a signature at time of delivery. Upon delivery, the driver will take the note as proof of doing so. If goods are left at customers request and upon returning to the property find that the goods are not present, Bradford Furniture Ltd will not be held reliable or responsible.   1. The goods must be unused and ‘as new’ in their original packaging including all manuals and accessories and the packaging must be in pristine condition, you must not puncture, cut or remove the plastic covering on a mattress or divan bed (for hygienic reasons).
    Please note: “Unused” means unused, it doesn’t mean opened, used for a few days and then reboxed.
  2. Any items with broken security seals or have been unpacked from their original packaging will be deemed “used” and will not qualify for a refund or credit.
  3. You must notify us within 7 days from date of delivery of your intention to return the goods IN WRITING (including by email). We will acknowledge this by email and your goods must be received by us within 14 days of this acknowledgement. During this period it is your responsibility to return the goods to us at your own cost and risk. We will not accept any goods back after this 14 day period.
